Alexis Mitchell has always been a fitness “enthusiast” beginning with dancing school as a child to certified fitness instructor as an adult.
As an adult, Alexis struggled with chronic migraines. Exercise provided some relief, as the “endorphins” act as the body’s natural painkiller. Transcendental meditation was recommended, by a neurologist, as another option. However, the options did little to minimize the frequency of occurrences, and traditional medication proved less and less effective.
In 2017, while attending a presentation on the benefits of essential oils, Alexis found the solution to her migraines “Peppermint oil”. To date, this solution has proved to be the first consistent, chemical free relief in conjunction with exercise, and balanced eating habits.
Alexis lives in Kannapolis, NC. She is currently discovering the benefits of DIY projects, and pursuing a certification in Wellness, Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Yoga.
